Natalia García Clark es una artista y cineasta mexicana que describe su trabajo como una constante mediación entre mundos internos y externos a través de sus órganos sensoriales y los medios audiovisuales. Su trabajo pone en juego ideas políticas o filosóficas que podrían clasificarse como reflexiones, poemas, o experiencias que utilizan formas abstractas de humor. La obra de Natalia ha sido expuesta en diversos museos y espacios culturales: la Galería Nacional de Retratos del Smithsonian (Artista galardonada 2019), la Galería de Arte de York, el Centro Cultural Kirchner, entre otros; su película más reciente circula en festivales de cine como Visions du Réel, el Festival Internacional de Cine de San Sebastián y el Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia. Natalia obtuvo un B.F.A en Arte de CalArts, y un Máster en Cine de la Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, en el País Vasco.
Natalia García Clark is a Mexican artist and filmmaker who describes her practice as a constant mediation between internal and external worlds through the use of her sense organs and audiovisual mediums. Her work brings into play political or philosophical ideas that could be classified as reflections, poems, or experiences that use abstract forms of humor. Natalia’s work has been exhibited in a number of museums and cultural spaces: the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery (Commended Artist 2019), the York Art Gallery, the Kirchner Cultural Centre, among others; her most recent film circulates in film festivals such as Visions du Réel, the San Sebastian International Film Festival, and the Morelia International Film Festival. Natalia received a BFA in Art from CalArts and a Masters degree in Filmmaking from the Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola in the Basque Country.
